BlueTech Research and Brave Blue World join 50L Home Coalition
BlueTech Research and the Brave Blue World Foundation have joined the 50L Home Coalition, as part of a shared mission to solve the urban water crisis through research and innovation, and re-imagine the future of water.
The partnership will catalyse deeper collaborations between the organisations, enabling BlueTech and the Brave Blue World Foundation to share knowledge and ideas to support the goals of the coalition.
50L Home is a global action-oriented platform that addresses water security and climate change. Its two-fold approach encourages water and energy efficiency in households, while generating awareness that leads to better lifestyle choices for sustainable water use. Convened by the 2030 Water Resources Group, World Business Council for Sustainable Development and the World Economic Forum, the Coalition is led by a leadership group of private sector, public sector and civil society representatives.
BlueTech Research provides actionable insights and intelligence into water technologies, for an eco system of industrial end users, utilities, technology providers, investors, researchers and academics.
It spearheaded the launch of the Brave Blue World Foundation, a non-profit platform for scientific educational storytelling and public engagement. The foundation’s award-winning documentary, Brave Blue World, was released on Netflix in 2020 and highlights the urgency of the global water crisis and the pioneers who are building sustainable solutions.
BlueTech Research and Brave Blue World Foundation founder Paul O’Callaghan said: “We are truly delighted to be part of this exciting consortium. We look forward to playing our part in supporting and collaborating alongside so many other great partners.”
50L Home director Braulio Eduardo Morera said: “The expertise and commitment of BlueTech Research and the Brave Blue World Foundation will be of great value to our coalition. We are excited about the prospects of collaborating more deeply with Paul and the team, who we know share our passion for bringing effective change and reinventing the future of water. Together, we’ll leverage research, insights, and technology to change the narrative on water use and transform the way we use water and energy in cities around the world.”
