ParasitometerWhat is it?
The Parasitometer is a micro-opto-fluidic chip based equipment that can detect a single cell in a ten-litre sample in one hour with a one button procedure. Water is directed to flow through a tiny channel (about the width of a human hair) within a small chip and shining a laser through the treated water. Any microscopic contaminants can be detected from the way laser light bounces off and through it. A camera sensor is then used to capture the data of the light refraction, which will then identify the contaminants.Website
