Modified Activated Carbon (MAC)

What is it?

ToxSorb uses chemically Modified Activated Carbon (MAC) to selectively remove different inorganic contaminants from water and wastewater. MAC is suitable for chromium, perchlorate, phosphate, ammonia, nitrate, and cyanide removal. MAC is approved by National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for chromium, cyanide and perchlorate removal for recycling of groundwater into drinking water. It also enables removal of lead and other pollutants. The saturated MAC can be regenerated onsite using diluted hydrochloric acid.
