Shield 1500What is it?
Shield is a photocatalytic advanced oxidation technology. A mesh coated with titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles is activated by a UVA LED light to treat water by photocatalytic oxidation and reduction, photolysis, photodisinfection, and photoadsorption, resulting in disinfection, organics destruction and metals removal. The Shield is a transportable unit which can treat between 200 – 1,500 gpd (0.75 - 5.7 m3/d).Website
