NovaQuatis is a research project run by the Swiss based water research group, EAWAG. The project is concerned with source separation of urine to recover nutrients, reduce pollution and close the nutrient cycle. The NoMix technology being developed incorporates a source separation toilet and a downstream urine processing system. This represents an alternate approach to urban wastewater management.Website
