Technology Offering

Controlled Flow Cavitation (CFC)

What is it?

Arisdyne Systems offers the Controlled Flow Cavitation process (CFC) which relies on hydrodynamic cavitation. The CFC technology controls location, size, density and intensity of implosion to create optimum process conditions. Cavitation is formed by passing the liquid through a constricted channel at a specific velocity. A combination of pressure and kinetic energy is created when the low pressure cavern created downstream the local constriction generates high energy cavitation bubbles. The formation, growth and collapse of these cavitation bubbles releases local energy in the form of shockwaves. After undergoing cavitation the pollutants can be more easily flocculated and filtered out of the water. The CFC can increase methane gas yield from anaerobic digestor by up to 30%, can destroy cell structure providing increased digestibility of biomass during fermentation.
