A photocatalytic Titanium dioxide porous anode and cathode are combined to form an electrolytic cell. The photoanode is illuminated with ultraviolet (UV) light to create a highly oxidative surface to generate hydroxyl radicals and chlorine. Primary market is the oil and gas industry – bacteria kill and polymer breakdown. Additional markets are environmental remediation, BTEX, MTBE destruction, Point of Use water treatment systems.
